Upper Sahali

Kamloops’ Upper Sahali is an ethnically diverse neighbourhood characterized by rolling hills, sweeping views and quiet, child-friendly cul-de-sacs.  Upper Sahali is bounded on the North by Lower Sahali, on the East by Peterson Creek Nature Park, and on the West by Aberdeen.  As one of Kamloops’ largest neighbourhoods, Upper Sahali has a broad range of housing available at a huge variety of price points, with condos and townhouses starting at 125,000. Detached homes in Upper Sahali start at 250,000$, while the most luxurious homes go for around 1,200,000$.  Upper Sahali is an excellent place for those looking to purchase an income property or a primary residence, and features convenient access to some of the best shopping in town at Sahali Centre Mall and Aberdeen Mall, as well as Columbia Square and other shopping centres.  It is also just a short distance down the hill to Thompson Rivers University which makes it easy to attract tenants from the student body.

Upper Sahali also offers excellent schooling for children of all ages, with both mainstream and French immersion elementary schools, and Sahali Secondary School.

Lower Sahali

Lower Sahali is also close to the best shopping that Kamloops has to offer, whether you go down the hill to the City Centre, or to the multiple shopping centres in Sahali itself, you’re sure to find everything that you need within a 5-10 minute drive from your house.

One of the best reasons to move to Lower Sahali is for education.  Just down the hill is the superb St Ann’s Academy, a private Catholic K-12 school that is consistently at the top of the rankings for Kamloops.  Lower Sahali is also serviced by the renowned Beattie School for the Arts, and by Sahali Secondary.  Lower Sahali is equidistant between the two French immersion elementary schools on the South Shore, thus helping to ensure that your children can take advantage of bilingual education.  If your children are of university age, living in Lower Sahali can save thousands of dollars in housing fees as the neighbourhood is within walking distance of Thompson Rivers University.
